How Much to Buy?

A simple guide to help you plan

Wine:  Typical wine- 12% (750ml) = about five standard drinks.

Beer: Typical beer- 5% (341ml) = about one standard drink. A case of 12 =  12 standard drinks.

Spirits: Typical spirits- 40% (750ml) = about seventeen standard drinks.

Alcohol planning formulas 

Wine:  one bottle (750ml) = five glasses ( 5 oz). Plan one bottle per two guests

Beer: One case (24 bottles/cans) four-six people.

Spirits: One bottle (750ml) = seventeen-twenty drinks (1 oz)
